Cruzando el charco #45: Shadow of the Fox y To Kill a Kingdom

¡Hola ciudadanos! ¿Qué tal estáis? ¿Cómo lleváis este lunes? ¡Espero que la semana se os pase volando y con alegría! En el día de hoy vengo a recuperar una sección que se estaba quedando adormilada, aquella en la que os muestro los próximos libros que cruzarán el charco para ser publicados en nuestro país. Son muchos los títulos que han salido desde que hice la última entrada de esta sección, pero acabo de descubrir uno que aún no se ha dicho por ningún sitio y que, estoy segura, más de uno y una querréis tener. ¿Preparados para conocer dos libros que llegarán pronto en español?

Cruzando el Charco es una sección original de Ciudad de los Libros, en los que mostraré qué libros publicados en Estados Unidos finalmente llegarán a España próximamente.

Es uno de los libros más esperados para tenerlo en español. Se trata de un retelling de La Sirenita que ha gustado muchísimo por Estados Unidos y que está dando mucho de qué hablar desde el primer momento en el que se publicó. No paran de decir cosas maravillosas de él así que, que lo traigan a España, es de agradecer. No se sabe mucho de esta publicación ya que apenas sabemos que se publicará. ya está. Desconocemos si se conservará la portada original, que espero que sí, y tampoco sabemos el título en español. Pero ya se verá con el tiempo.

Julie Kagawa es una gran conocida dentro del género de la fantasía. Una de sus obras más conocidas es la saga The Iron Fey, que llegó a estar publicada hace años en España por una editorial que, hoy en día, ya no existe. Desde entonces no hemos visto más de sus libros por aquí, y eso que ha sacado varios, pero parece ser que, al fin, regresará. Shadow of the Fox es su próximo nuevo trabajo, una historia ambientada en Japón con mitología y magia, al más puro estilo de la autora. Al igual que el libro de arriba, se desconoce cómo lucirá su edición en español, pero espero poder tener noticias pronto.
